Pumpkin Carving Medtronic Style!
Every holiday has its traditions. Here at Medtronic Diabetes, we wanted to partake in one of Halloween’s most common traditions – pumpkin carving… Medtronic style!
In the spirit of learning something new every day, did you know in some countries it was a tradition to carve a turnip for Halloween? Not until immigrants to the Americas found the pumpkin to be larger, softer and easier to carve did the pumpkin become a symbol of Halloween in the mid-to-late 19th century. (Good thing – yummy roasted pumpkin seeds are half the fun and less than 4 carbs per ounce!)
A big thanks to Kirsta Hagen, Customer Experience Analyst from our Supply Order Team, for carving these creative “pump”kins that you’re sure not to find anywhere else!
